Become a Skillful Electrocardiography Technician
An Electrocardiography technician is an individual who assists physicians in diagnosing, as well as treating heart or cardiac and blood vessel or peripheral vascular ailments. They are also referred to as cardiovascular technicians or electrocardiograph technicians. They operate and are responsible for the total care of test devices or equipment. They also explain procedures and processes to patients and compare findings to the standards to determine any problems.
The EKG Technician Program
Is provided by A Plus Healthcare Training. It is approved by the Division of Private Business and Vocational Schools of the IBHE and follows the guidelines set forth by the NHA.
Upon completion of the course, the student will receive a certificate of completion and will qualify to take the written certification exam through the NHA. Being a certified EKG technician will qualify the student for employment as an EKG technician at any healthcare agency or facility in Illinois.

Admission/Eligibility Requirements
At least 18 years old and has a high school diploma or equivalent

Complete and sign all A Plus Healthcare Training forms
